My critical comments and reviews were removed from their site and Instagram, they did not reply to my emails or messages but repeatedly replied to canned positive comments. I ordered one fragrance each time so it wasn’t worth it to pay to return and also lose out on the original cost of shipping, especially since a friend of mine had an issue getting her money back (it took 6 months) when returning bottles to them. Customer service was awful and shipping took months longer than they originally said. Honestly I had a really poor experience both times I ordered from them. Your money is well better spent this way, because there usually is nothing like the real thing. They are usually not that expensive and can be found on ebay, etsy, and there's a few websites that do them too, as little as 1ml so you can try really expensive fragrances for a few bucks. You will get the benefit of having the real fragrance and being able to test it out to see if you like it without relying on another company's version of it. I recommend decants of the real fragrances instead if you are on a budget. Doesn't last that long though, but it's a really nice scent. I had a decant of TF Lost Cherry and its really strong, boozy cherry at the opening. I'm just not a big fan of clone houses though, sans Al Haramain bc Amber Oud Rouge is good as shit. I see ads all the time of people gushing about Dossier. They seem like a shill brand to me at this point, no offense. I had been looking into them months ago because they grabbed my attention on Facebook but could never find anything on reddit, or anywhere really, except for influencers on YouTube. Have you ever tried a Dossier frag? How did it stand up to the original? It is a little powdery, but it works in this frag. I could smell it all morning around me, and I could still smell it on my wrist by the afternoon. It reminds me of walking through the cosmetics section at Saks in a cute outfit! It's very girly, but it smells wealthy. It's rosy and warm without feeling musky, and it's bright without a heavy citrus influence. "Floral Pink Pepper" (inspired by Dior's Miss Dior 2017)Īt first, I did not like this frag because it has a patchouli note when sprayed onto a card.

It's not a big floral, but it's fruity and sexy and bold. It has serious sillage and lasts pretty much all day.

It smells too sexy for the office, but it's the perfect frag (for me) for a bold night out. As it starts to dry down (which takes a while, because this frag LASTS) it opens into a vaguely floral spice before finally settling into a smoky vanilla. Accompanied by almond and cinnamon on the opening, it's a rich, gourmand experience for the first hour or so.

It opens with bold cherry- not too candy sweet or medicinal, but closer to the ripest bag of cherries in the grocery store. This is definitely a fall fragrance, but I would to wear it all year if I could. "Oriental Cherry" (inspired by Tom Ford's Lost Cherry) I absolutely love this scent! While there are hints of orange blossom and rose, it's a tuberose frag through and through. I can still smell a hint of tuberose in the crook of my elbow when I wake up.

I've been using it as a sleep frag, and while the initial power of the scent fades after only 30 minutes, it lingers close to the skin all night.

But as fragrance settles onto the skin, it transforms from sickening to positively intoxicating, like a garden full of night-blooming flowers. "Floriental Tuberose" (inspired by Dipytque's Do Son)Īt first whiff, this heady white floral is almost too sweet.

For the price, it's amazing! I bought 3 full size bottles, and the total was around $90 with their new customer discount. I can't compare these dupes to the originals (or as they say, "inspired by") but I don't think you need to be familiar with the originals to enjoy these recreations. I gravitate towards big florals and flirty fruit scents, but I'm on a limited budget- so you can imagine my delight when I found Dossier! I love that they include all the notes on the bottles. My signature frag for years has been Gucci Bloom (I'm a 25 yr old woman) and I've been trying to expand my repertoire of scents. a company that claims to recreate famous frags really shouldn't be this great.
